• Between 36% - 41% of Hampton Roads students earned an advanced diploma in 2015, compared to 51% for the Commonwealth
• Approximately 20% of secondary school students in Hampton Roads took Advanced Placement Exams in 2014-15. Only 22% earned passing scores, compared to a 61% AP test pass rate in 2014-15 for the Commonwealth.
• The rate of students earning passing scores has steadily decreased since 2011-12.
