Since 1995, Mikael Davis has been helping students achieve their academic and professional goals by delivering exceptional classroom instruction, serving as an athletic coach and mentor, providing SAT prep to improve K12 students' college and career pathways, and training thought leaders in evidence-based post-secondary persistence and degree completion strategies. 

​In his current role as the Dean of Student Achievement at one of the premier HBCUs in the nation, and as the founder of Mikael Davis Consulting and TeachersBox, Mikael has secured nearly $30 Million in merit-based aid and federal TRIO funding to improve high school persistence and graduation rates and to increase post-secondary and post-baccalaureate degree completion rates for all students, with a particular emphasis on low-income, first-generation, and students with documented physical and learning disabilities.
