THE WENDELL T. FOSTER SCHOLARSHIP
In addition to soliciting sustained giving to establish an endowed fund, MIKAEL DAVIS CONSULTING is seeking donations from brothers of the Kappa Pi Chapter to immediately fund two annual scholarships for low-income and/or first generation young men of character at the College of William & Mary in recognition of Brother Wendell T. Foster's decades of dedication to the chapter.
We are long overdue to honor Brother Foster. The time to act is NOW! Our donations will allow the chapter to award one $1,975 scholarship to an incoming Freshmen and one $1,906 scholarship to a rising sophomore while earmarking additional donations to fund the endowment with a ten year goal to raise enough receivables to award the scholarships in perpetuity. To apply for the scholarship, incoming freshmen and rising sophomores may click below to access the application which opens on August 8th and will close on November 6th. Awards will be announced to the brotherhood of the Kappa Pi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity in and scholarship funds will be dispersed to recipients during the second semester at the College of William and Mary. |
Throughout our 45 year history, no single individual has been as instrumental to the founding and subsequent growth and development of Kappa Pi as Brother Wendell T. Foster. |
NONE OF THE FUNDS COLLECTED FOR THE OPTIMIZING STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIPS WILL BE AWARDED TO MY SON, whose diligence in securing scholarships and tuition remission to fund all tuition, fees, room & board, pre-college expenses, and books enabled me to devote months of logistical planning to this initiative to benefit other students. All receivables and capital outlays will be detailed in our forthcoming annual report.
